Newbow Aerospace is renowned as the global aviation market leader for its wide range of aircraft pressure setting and inflation equipment.
Each aircraft strut service tool is individually calibrated by competent Newbow Aerospace engineers using UKAS certified equipment.
The 100mm diameter bourdon tube gauge is calibrated to an accurate tolerance of +/- 1% at reading, allowing for optimum aircraft strut and accumulator inflation pressure settings to always be achieved.
Unlike many common strut inflation tools, the Newbow Aerospace equipment does not consist of a gauge pointer back stop or stop pin at the zero zone.
With the back stop or stop pin not present, the gauge pointer can freely rest within the zero zone when not in use, instantly indicating to the operator that the pressure gauge remains within its certified tolerance.
Consisting of a shatter proof Perspex lens and protective rubber cover, the Newbow Aerospace strut service tool is very robust and reliable.
The aircraft strut and accumulator service tool features a two-metre length high pressure hose to allow adequate operator safety during high pressure inflation procedures.
The threaded strut valve connection consists of an open / close valve pin which allows full isolation at the aircraft fill valve.
The gas inlet port consists of a non-return valve and hand operated isolation valve offering optimum strut and accumulator inflation pressures to be achieved.
Once the inflation task is complete, or should the operator slightly over inflate the aircraft strut , the integrated exhaust port can be manually opened to vent excess line gas.
